Industrial Chemistry for Circular and Bio Economy
The reduction of anthropic impact on the environment and its protection are two objectives of the new frontier of the chemical industry.
In order to achieve these objectives, it is necessary to develop new skills, processes and raw materials for the design, development and production of new sustainable chemical products.
The goal is to increase the environmental sustainability by reducing the impact and thus ensuring a sustainable growth based on Circular and Bio economy.
This new approach requires the involvement of a new generation of scientists, technicians, managers with training and skills not only in science but also in environmental and economical sustainability.
The MOOCs of the Industrial Chemistry for Circular and Bio Economy programme are characterized by in-depth studies covering theoretical and experimental aspects that allow students to learn the scientific method with special reference to the development of chemical and biotechnological processes and products.
The programme is part of the Master’s Degree Course Industrial Chemistry for Circular and Bio Economy and it is realized by the University of Naples Federico II and the Polytechnic University of Turin.
